GACA implements preventive measures against the Coronavirus at the Kingdom’s airports

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in cooperation with the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has taken preventive and precautionary measures on passengers arriving from China to the Kingdom’s airports, on both direct and indirect flights. These measures were taken in order to ensure that travelers are free from the coronavirus emerging in southern China. These measures have come into effect, since the announcement of the emergence of the virus.

GACA have issued a circular to all airports and air carriers operating in the Kingdom, stressing the need to take care and be careful and vigilant in taking all the necessary health precautions. This is especially for travelers arriving from countries where the virus is suspected.
