Riyadh – : To mark Saudi Arabia’s 90th National Day, TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile video, has announced the launch of its #SaudiNationalDay90 challenge, to allow its users to showcase their love for the Kingdom.
TikTok has partnered with global brand PepsiCo to celebrate and encourage it’s Saudi users to take part in the #SaudiNationalDay90 challenge and use it as a way to express their love for Saudi Arabia through a series of features. Users are encouraged to share their favorite celebratory dish, national wear, and Saudi songs to celebrate the Kingdom. To date, the challenge has garnered 10 million views and participants included two of Saudi’s well-known content creators, Abbas (@abas.iii) and Tala Alsabe (@tala.sb3), who both expressed their joy by singing for the Kingdom and wore famous national outfits.
In addition, TikTok has also created-themed stickers called “National Day 90” where a user is advised to lift up their palm and a spring of balloons will pop form the sides of the screen. Users will also be able to take part in an interactive quiz, titled “The Kingdom’s History”, to test their knowledge and learn more about the Kingdom’s history and traditions.
