With the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince The National Campaign for Charitable Work is Launched Today in the Kingdom via Ehsan platform

With the support of the wise leadership and the participation of virtuous scholars, senior officials, and many businessmen, the National Campaign for Charitable Work in the Kingdom will be launched today on the Ehsan platform. The National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan), developed by SDAIA, receives outstanding support from H.R.H. the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Chairman of SDAIA’s Board of Directors, which highlight his commitment to supporting charitable work as well as developing the non-profit sector and increasing its efficiency and reliability.

The National Campaign for Charitable Work, which will continue throughout the holy month of Ramadan,aims to introduce the role of Ehsan platform in promoting the values of charitable work in society by encouraging donations and activating the integrative role of SDAIA with various government entities and sectors. In addition, the campaign seeks to empower the non-profit sector and expand its impact, encourage social responsibility in the private sector, and contribute to enhancing the reliability and transparency of charitable and developmental activities.

H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi, President of SDAIA, stated: “We take pride in what our dear country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has achieved in terms of leadership in various fields. Since its unification, the Kingdom has been known for its generous contributions in the charitable and humanitarian fields. The interest of the Kingdom’s leaders, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and H.R.H. the Crown Prince in considering citizens’ needs and practicing regular charitable work is also well known; this is what we are used to in our giving country. And complementing the launch of Ehsan Platform, the National Campaign for Charitable Work will be launched today to promote social responsibility among individuals and enterprises, raise the efficiency of developmental work, and reinforce the values ​​of national belonging and humanitarian activities for both individuals and institutions.”

He added, “The support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and H.R.H. Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense proves their commitment to providing a decent life for everyone, as well as motivating donators to donate to this platform, which aims to support national services, programs and platforms concerned with donations in the Kingdom. By establishing this platform, which has become a turning point in the field of charitable work and announcing the launch of the National Campaign for Charitable Work, the Kingdom has set an example to the world on how to utilize technology to alleviate suffering and improve the quality of life.”

The National Campaign for Charitable Work will be launched at SDAIA’s headquarters in Riyadh and will include various Saudi regions throughout the month of Ramadan. The campaign, which is the largest of its kind in the Kingdom, witnesses the participation and support of regional governors, charities, and the private sector, as well as the Saudi society, which always supported and encouraged philanthropic campaigns during Ramadan.

The Kingdom has been pioneering in the charity field since the reign of the founder King Abdulaziz, and until the current reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and H.R.H. the Crown Prince and has generously contributed to the development of this field. Furthermore, Ehsan platform was established to help donations reach their beneficiaries easily, conveniently, and promptly. It is considered the latest advanced technological initiative with the highest professional standards that supports and organizes charitable work in the Kingdom.
