UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup Kicks off in Diriyah

Riyadh – Asdaf News:

As a component of the worldwide qualification circuits for the 2023 Olympic Games in Paris, the 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup got underway on Friday at the Elite Sports Center in Historic Diriyah. This event is being held for the first time in the Middle East from February 10 to February 18 during the Diriyah Season’s second edition.

On the first day, there was a sizable turnout of parents and kids participating in various urban sports, such as skateboarding, BMX, scootering, mountain biking, and parkour, while being trained by international recognized coaches. By enhancing their abilities, providing them with chances to interact with people from all over the world, raising interest in various games, and creating a generation of professional athletes who can compete both locally and internationally, kids and fans will learn the fundamentals of these sports and be encouraged to play them.

This project intends to achieve excellence locally and globally, increase Saudi Arabia’s visibility and representation in international sports, and improve and boost prospects for sporting events and investment.

The crowd for the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup was diverse. The championship was accompanied by live DJ music, athletics, and special shows. Urban sports enthusiasts have places to play and indulge in their pastimes. Visitors took part in semi-competitions, watched demonstrations, workshops, and amazing performances put on by top professional athletes from across the world. The location also features a number of cafes, boutiques, and restaurants.
