The Tabuk-NEOM event, the first event organised by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) and sponsored by Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the governor of the Tabuk Region, came to a conclusion yesterday. It served as the second stage of the 2023 Saudi Toyota Desert Rally Championship, which was put on by SAMF.
In remarks made at the ceremony held on this occasion, which was also attended by the Undersecretary of Tabuk Region for Security Affairs Ahmed bin Mabrouk Al-Hujaili and representatives of various government agencies in the area, Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah bin Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAMF and President of the Saudi Motorsports Company, said, “We all had a great time during the Saudi Toyota Championship. As in past years, we introduced new stages and named the top competitors.
“during the Saudi Toyota Championship, we all had great fun. As in previous years, we added different stages and crowned the best drivers. This success is a result of cooperation among many government, civil and voluntary agencies, and various departments and relevant authorities, an indication of the professionalism we have achieved in organising sporting events within a few years. As we conclude the Tabuk-Neom round of the Saudi Toyota Championship 2023, we will immediately begin our preparations for a new success story.”
Prince Khalid bin Sultan commended His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for their ongoing support of sports and sportsmen, which has fostered an environment favourable to the success of the Tabuk-NEOM Rally 2023. Prince Khalid also expressed gratitude for the governor of Tabuk’s steadfast assistance in organising demonstrations in the area.
Prince Khalid bin Sultan thanked the government organisations that took part in the competitions, the top three finishers in each category of the race, and the attendees at the ceremony’s conclusion in King Khalid Sports City in Tabuk.
