The Board of Directors of the Sharjah Old Cars Club (SOCC) convened its second periodic meeting under the direction of Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Al Zawd, Chairman of the Board, in order to carry out its mission to become one of the most significant and leading specialised clubs in the region.
The vice-chairman of the board, Dr. Mohammed Butti bin Obaid Al Hajri, members of the board, Saeed Ghanim Al Suwaidi, Dr. Faisal Juma Al Hosani, Saud Ali Al Matroushi, Ahmed Hamad Al Suwaidi, Badr Mohammed Saab Al Ali, and the club’s executive director, Saeed Mohammed bin Ashour, were all present when this occurred.
The conference covered the strategic plan’s goals as well as a variety of club development initiatives, such as building a technical workshop, speeding up maintenance work, expanding investment opportunities, and evaluating recent accomplishments.
The Board approved the schedule for upcoming regional events, including participation in the Auto Moto Show and the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition. They also approved the start of an annual vintage car festival, the activities of which will take place at the beginning of January 2024 and serve as a platform for amateurs and interested parties to congregate.
