Saudi Ministry of Investment Organizes Industrial Investment Conference on Petrochemicals and Transformation in Houston Industries

It was announced today that the Industrial Investment Conference on Petrochemicals and Transformation Industries, to be held in the US city of Houston, Texas, on March 15, 2023, will be organized by the Saudi-US Business Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The conference agenda includes opening remarks and panel discussions on some national strategy goals as well as investment aspirations and opportunities in the petrochemicals and transformation industries sector by 2030 and linking those industries with the clean energy opportunities to form zero petro-and-transformation industries complexes aiming to increase productivity capacities and ensure the integration of petro- and transformation industries.
Holding the event in Houston is viewed as an appropriate opportunity to speak with US multinational corporations to secure cooperation in examining investment opportunities, luring substantial investments in this area, empowering Saudi Arabia’s advanced industries, gaining from its industrial transformation to access a wider international market, and providing the necessary support for such industries, including financing, incentives, or raw material feedstock for a carbon-free industry.
Twelve governmental and corporate representatives are scheduled to attend the event.
Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s top producers of fundamental petrochemical components, and its specialist petro-and-transformation industries are now advancing quickly in the country.
