Qatar National Library Holds Summer Activities

Throughout the months of July and August, the Qatar National Library (QNL) will hold a variety of events for people of all ages, including reading contests, talks, seminars, and special events for kids and teenagers.

The Summer Reading Challenge programme is available at QNL from early July through August 20. Additionally, QNL will host a series of talks designed to offer assistance and information to parents and educators so they may help kids develop habits that will help them succeed academically.

One of these seminars, titled “How to Enhance the Academic Excellence of Our Children,” will cover issues in human psychology and neuro-linguistic programming to provide attendees skills and tactics that assist children attain academic greatness. This presentation will take place on July 11.

On July 16, QNL will host a summer camp for kids and teens where fun activities will be provided all during the break. Children will get the opportunity to learn about other languages, local foods, and costumes in Indonesia during the “discover the world with Kidzania summer camp” event.

On July 23, QNL will host a discussion session with the title “the power of the book: the adventure story of two young men,” which will focus on the influence of reading and the power of the written word and how it affected the lives of two young Arabs.

On August 21, there will also be a “painting with coloured sand” activity, giving kids a wonderful chance to express their creativity. Additionally, two workshops will be held, “make your own jewellery” on August 22 and “little weavers” on August 23, where participants may learn about knitting while having fun and making unique jewellery.
