The new academic year began today with more than 6 million students enrolled in general education and 1,360,000 students in higher education and technical and vocational training.
Early preparations for the school year have been made by the Ministry of Education and the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, working in unison with educational authorities based on a strategic plan to get schools ready, equip them with the tools they need, and make them ready to receive students.
The plan also highlights the need of parents encouraging and monitoring their kids’ attendance so they can attain their academic objectives.
