Riyadh – : The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) will be organizing on Monday the 20th of July, a virtual symposium entitled “Together, we shall comeback “, with the participation of member states of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) and a number of regional and international organizations and unions. The symposium aims to review the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic on the civil aviation sector in the region, and to develop visualizations and plans regarding the recovery phase of the civil aviation industry.
The symposium will be inaugurated by the President of GACA, Mr. Abdulhadi bin Ahmed Al Mansouri, with the participation of heads of Arab countries civil aviation authorities and the heads of international and regional organizations and federations, and companies concerned with the civil aviation sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, such as national air carriers and the air navigation company.
The virtual symposium will put forward the great efforts made by the Kingdom during the Coronavirus pandemic and the precautionary measures taken by GACA to ensure a safe travel in Saudi airports. The symposium will review of the most important efforts made by member countries and regional and international organizations throughout the pandemic.
The symposium will also discuss the most prominent challenges and difficulties faced by the civil aviation sector in the region and the world as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, and seek to exchange ideas about the recovery phase of the civil aviation industry. Moreover, it will discuss ways to overcome the effects of the pandemic that resulted in interruption of travel between countries around the world.
