GACA: A 77% increase in passenger satisfaction level during the month of February at Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah airports
Newsgate360 – KSA: The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has announced a high rate of passengers satisfaction of the service quality during the month of February in each of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Fahad International Airport in Dammam, and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
According to the statistics by GACA for the month of February, in which more than 700 thousand passengers participated, the passenger satisfaction rate reached 77%, compared to last January which amounted to 73%.
King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh recorded an increase in the percentage of passengers’ satisfaction with the services provided, which reached 81% compared to last January’s numbers, which stood at 77% rating. Meanwhile, satisfaction rate at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah increased to 80% compared to last month, which recorded a 79% rating. While the satisfaction rate recorded at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam rose to 79% compared to last January, rate of 75%. Furthermore, the satisfaction rate for passengers satisfaction at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah in all its terminals, including the new terminal (1), was higher than last January, where it recorded a 72% in the month of February.
It is worth noting, that GACA, represented by the General Department for Quality and Customer Protection, conducts field trips periodically at the mentioned airports, preparing reports on the level of customer satisfaction and their observations on the services provided. This is done in order to assess the current level of services, and further analyze the information received through opinion polls carried out by the customer protection department. The evaluation is highly reliable, in order to improve and develop the services provided to traveling public throughout the Kingdom’s airports.
It is worth noting, that GACA issues monthly reports on the level of passengers satisfaction with the services provided in airports, with the aim of assessing the current level of services in the given airports and work to develop and improve them better by applying the highest international standards in the field of passenger services quality. The idea is to improve the quality of those services provided, which is in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s vision 2030 to achieve the highest levels of service quality.
