Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol kept his undefeated record and light heavyweight championship belts (IBF & WBA) by defeating Libyan Malik Zinad in the 6th round. Zinad’s 22-win streak ended with this loss. Bivol was invited by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) chairman Turki Al Al-Sheikh for a fight in October during Riyadh Season 2024.
In a separate event showcasing five boxing matches, Queensberry Promotions dominated their rivals Matchroom Boxing, winning all ten points across the fights. Upset win by Scottish Willy Hutchinson (Queensberry) against British champion Craig Richards (Matchroom). Nick Ball (Queensberry) defeating previously undefeated WBA champion Raymond Ford (Matchroom). British boxer Hamzah Sheeraz (Queensberry) winning against American Austin Williams (Matchroom). British heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (Queensberry) defeating Croatian Filip Hrgović (Matchroom) with a TKO. Chinese boxer Zhilei Zhang (Queensberry) defeating WBC champion Deontay Wilder (Matchroom) with a TKO. Queensberry boxers earned a clean sweep and a total prize of $3 million.
