International Economic Collaboration Between Agencies Affecting SMEs is covered in BIBAN 23

The success of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) in organizing the BIBAN 23 Forum has been praised by the Ministry of Investment’s Undersecretary of Investment Development, Fahd Al-Naim, who also noted that investors are a key component of the country’s investment strategy.

Al-Naim made his comments during a panel discussion on BIBAN 23 about strengthening international economic cooperation between organizations that work with SMEs and startups. Saud Al-Sabhan, the deputy governor of Monsha’at, Anatoly Motkin, and Roland Thaher, the CEO of Astrolabs, also spoke on the panel.

Al-Naim highlighted the incentives the Kingdom offers to investors during the session and explained that the national investment strategy encourages SMEs and removes any barriers to their expansion.
Al-Sabhan emphasized the progress made in the Kingdom’s entrepreneurial sector, noting that the country has moved up to second place internationally in terms of thorough coverage and expansion in the SMEs sector.
Participants in the discussion also talked about the Kingdom’s efforts to draw investors and businesspeople and its digital economy.
