Sports Boulevard’s partnership with the 2023 Saudi Tour strengthens its dedication to cycling

Sports Boulevard Foundation (SBF) is a major partner of the third Saudi Tour will feature 16 elite teams from around the world competing in a category race over an 830km five-stage course.
The Saudi Tour is a major event on the international cycling calendar and will take place in the heritage site of AlUla from January 30 to February 3.
The collaboration between SBF and the Saudi Tour will assist to promote the project’s lofty goals for Riyadh to participants, fans, and the cycling community in the Kingdom.
This statement comes shortly after a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with the Saudi Cycling Federation (SACF) with the intention of exploring collaboration prospects, exchanging best practices, and promoting cycling awareness throughout the Kingdom.
CEO of the SBF Jayne McGivern said: “We are proud to underline our ongoing commitment to enhancing the culture of cycling across Riyadh and the Kingdom by partnering with this prestigious Saudi Tour event. It is wonderful to see some of the world’s best teams and competitors racing here in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Tour marks a unique stop on the cycling calendar and we are sure will inspire the next generation of cyclists here in the Kingdom.”
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, announced the SBF as one of Riyadh’s four mega projects in 2019. By 2030, Riyadh is expected to rank among the top 100 cities in the world.
More than 135km of open space and 4.4 million square meters of flora are included in the project. This contains a system of 135 km for professionals and more than 85 km for cyclists and pedestrians that are safe and naturally landscaped. It will encourage its residents to have a healthy lifestyle by getting active and taking part in a variety of sporting events.
