Misk enhances youth dialogue and global participation at the 2023 World Economic Forum in Davos

“Misk” continues its efforts to empower youth to address global challenges by participating for the fifth year in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, from January 16 to 20, 2023.

Misk will host the “Youth Majlis,” which will focus on Generation Transformation. The Majlis provides a forum for forward-thinking dialogue and acts as a catalyst for exploring collaborative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues, ranging from inclusive economic growth to ambitious climate action, all in line with the World Economic Forum’s global perspectives in Davos in 2023.

The return of the Youth Majlis is also a significant step forward in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s vision for a more prosperous and sustainable future. Misk’s Youth Majlis hosted over 1,700 visitors from 42 countries, 14 heads of state and ministers, and 25 speakers during the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in 2022. Davos.

Since its beginning in 2011, Misk has given young people the opportunity to represent the Kingdom in numerous international forums and initiatives that aim to address difficult global problems and encourage active participation in global citizenship. The Misk Fellowship Program saw the graduation of more than 280 students, who went on to work on more than 40 projects aimed at resolving problems associated with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, Misk commemorated the sixth anniversary of the Misk Global Forum, which attracted more than 28,000 visitors from 64 nations.

The foundation makes investments in the education, entrepreneurship, culture, and creative arts of Saudi Arabia’s youth, with science and technology acting as supporting areas. The foundation achieves its objectives through developing programs and working in partnership with national and international organizations in a variety of sectors through an array of incubators.
