To boost local production and diversify sources of income and enjoyment, in line with Vision 2030, the General Commission for Audiovisual Media reported that 31 Saudi films had been made and played since the opening of theaters in 2018.
The commission also revealed the top 5 Saudi films playing in Saudi theaters: “Sattar,” which had around 1 million ticket sales, “Alhamour,” “Born a King,” “Shams Al-Ma’arif,” and “Masameer.” Each of these films helps Saudi Arabia realize its Vision 2030.
