Riyadh – Asdaf News:
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has emphasized the value of soup as a staple cuisine during Ramadan since it is a good source of proteins, vitamins, and dietary fiber.
The SFDA advised cooking soup at home with natural components such oats, lentils, groats, fresh veggies, and meat and flavoring it with thyme, turmeric, ginger, garlic, and lemon rather than using artificial powders to encourage good eating habits. Due to the high salt and preservative content of instant soup, the SFDA advised against ingesting excessive amounts of it.
