Saudi Women Effectively Represent Country in Makkah Route Initiative

Riyadh – Asdaf News:

Through the Makkah Route Initiative, one of the programmes run by the Ministry of the Interior in line with Saudi Vision 2030, Saudi women have played a major role in providing services to pilgrims. Before pilgrims leave their home nations, this programme strives to make the travel processes more efficient. The pilgrims are then driven by buses to their lodgings in Makkah and Madinah after arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Makkah Route Initiative, which was put into effect in 1444 AH, includes seven Islamic nations: Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Morocco, Bangladesh, Turkiye, and Côte d’Ivoire.

Before the pilgrims leave for the Kingdom, Saudi female staff employees in these nations supervise the fulfilment of the pilgrims’ travel arrangements, collect necessary data, and handle passport formalities at their respective airports.
