The Saudi Sport School Federation squad is competing in the under-16 international handball event at the Interamnia World Cup in Teramo, Italy, until July 15, 2023.
Today’s scheduled game between the Saudi club and Palermo of Italy is to be its inaugural contest.
The delegation from the school team comprises of 25 players and officials, according to Ali bin Mohammed Al-Shuailan, president of the Saudi Federation for School Sports, who also represents an elite group of prepared pupils ready to compete in international competitions.
At the most recent Arab School Championship, which was held in Cairo, the Saudi School Sports Federation took part and finished second in the handball competition.–SPA
