Saudi Arabia placed 17th overall in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2023, according to IMD.

Riyadh – Asdaf News:

In the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2023, compiled by the World Competitiveness Centre of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Saudi Arabia placed 17th overall out of 64 of the world’s most competitive nations, breaking into the top 20 for the first time.

The Kingdom has the third-most competitive economy among its G20 counterparts, ahead of nations like the Republic of Korea, Germany, France, Japan, Italy, India, the United Kingdom, China, Mexico, Brazil, and Turkey. One of the primary competitiveness reports that the National Competitiveness Centre monitors and examines in coordination with the appropriate governmental bodies is the one in question.

Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Competitiveness Centre (NCC), responded to the Kingdom’s impressive performance by confirming that the country’s success in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2023 and other prestigious international reports is a result of the country’s government’s implementation of the economic transformation process in accordance with the instructions of HRH Crown Prince.

The Kingdom improved in three of the four primary competitiveness factors evaluated by the study, moving up from position 31 to position 6, from 19 to position 11 for government efficiency, from position 16 to position 13, and keeping its prior infrastructure rating of 34.
