Neeraj Teckchandani: Apparel Group Expansion Continues in Saudi Arabia

Following the group’s high-profile participation as a Headline Partner in the recent RLC (Retail Leaders Circle) Global Forum 2026 in Riyadh, Neeraj Teckchandani, CEO of Apparel Group spoke to Asdaf News on the evolving retail landscape in the Kingdom, the Group’s active expansion strategy.

On the significance of Apparel Group participation in RLC, Teckchandani explained the value of RLC as a specialized platform designed for global leaders to share high-level knowledge, practices, and insights, and it provides a direct channel to meet with government officials. These dialogues allow retail leaders to discuss the real-world challenges and opportunities of the industry, ensuring that the private sector and public policy move in lockstep toward the goals of Vision 2030.

Teckchandani also spoke about the Group’s growth in the Kingdom saying that Apparel Group has moved the regional headquarters to the Majdoul Tower in Riyadh and established a major distribution center here to streamline the supply chain.  Last last year, the Group successfully opened 150 new stores across the Kingdom. This year, the acceleration of that momentum with a plan to open 200 more stores and the journey is about a continuous evolution to meet the Saudi consumer wherever they are.

To ensure that the brand offering remains fresh, Teckchandani added that Apparel Group is constantly injecting new energy into the market and is currently in the process of launching 28 new brands in Saudi Arabia spanning fashion, footwear, and more to ensure that every customer touchpoint is covered and, eyeing to create a diverse retail ecosystem that caters to every segment of society.
