PIF Establishes Al Madinah Heritage Company

Al Madinah Heritage Company (MHC) has been established, according to the Public Investment Fund (PIF). The new business will be crucial in raising the caliber and volume of Ajwa dates produced in the Madinah area. According to Vision 2030, the establishment of the Company will promote the expansion of the Saudi food and agriculture sector and the diversification of the Saudi economy.

Ajwa dates are regarded as some of the best dates in the world because of their great nutritional content, numerous health advantages, and abundance in fibre, protein, antioxidants, and other nutritive components. Ajwa dates also have religious and cultural significance in the Muslim world, particularly for tourists to the Madinah region.

To support the local economy’s unique produce industries and to help it become more diversified, PIF has made strategic investments in the food and agriculture sector. Among these investments are the Halal Products Development Company, which makes investments in the halal products industry, the Saudi Agricultural Investment and Livestock Production Company (SALIC), and the Saudi Coffee Company, which promotes Saudi Khulani coffee.

To fulfil the rising demand worldwide, MHC will concentrate on promoting and dispersing Ajwa dates locally and internationally in addition to other date kinds. Through the use of cutting-edge agricultural technologies, the enterprise will also contribute to the broader growth of sustainable agriculture in the Madinah region.
