Saudi-Türkiye Business Forum Kicks off with Discussions on Expanding Investment Partnership

Aiming to strengthen and develop the two countries’ business ties, Saudi Arabia-Türkiye Business Forum, Kicked off in Jeddah, yesterday.

Both the Saudi Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Faleh and the Turkish Minister of Trade Omer Bolat  attended the event, which also included businesses and members of the private sector from both countries.

Eng. Al-Faleh praised the Saudi-Turkish economic collaboration in his opening remarks and emphasised the importance of the two nations’ corporate relationships as major forces in advancing their bilateral economic relations.

Al-Faleh stated that the forum’s objectives are to promote collaboration and friendship while also analysing the investment potential present in the two nations.

The minister emphasised that by strengthening the future of investment in the Kingdom, the National Investment Strategy (NIS) is one of the key drivers of attaining the goals of the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030.
Among these improvements include expanding investment possibilities, enhancing the business climate, and boosting the Kingdom’s competitiveness on the world investment map.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, on the other hand, are emerging economic powers with major competitive advantages, according to the Turkish Minister of Trade. He underlined Türkiye’s desire to see more commerce between the two countries in the ensuing years.

Nine MoUs encompassing the areas of energy, real estate, construction, education, digital technologies, healthcare, and media were signed at the Forum. The objectives of the MoUs are to advance and deepen economic and investment ties between the two nations.
