KSA Students Won 3 Awards at International Physics Olympiad

The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), whose students competed in the 2023 International Physics Olympiad, which is taking place in Japan from July 9 to July 18, received recognition through three of the competitors.

Mazen Al-Shakhs, a student in the first grade at Al-Ahsa, and Hussein Kadah, a student in the third grade at the Jeddah Education Department, both received a bronze medal, while Rose Al-Sindi, a student in the first grade at the Makkah Education Department, received a certificate of appreciation.

The general director of Mawhiba, Amal Al-Hazaa, emphasised the organization’s support from Yousef Al-Benyan, the saudi Minister of education. This assistance also covers Mawhiba’s initiatives to encourage Saudi Arabia’s general education system’s gifted male and female pupils.

The Kingdom currently boasts 42 medals and certificates of praise from several Olympic scientific events after its most recent accomplishment.

At the International Physics Olympiad, which had 387 students from 82 nations, the Saudi physics team sent five students.
