From September 4 to 6, 2023, Jeddah will play host to the Sustainable Maritime Industry Conference (SMIC), with the theme “Innovation for a Greener Future”.
Various Saudi foreign ministries, ambassadors, permanent representatives to the International marine Organization (IMO), and marine specialists will attend the event.
The conference aims to emphasize the Kingdom’s key position in the maritime industry and its accomplishments and endeavours in conserving the marine environment.
The occasion also demonstrates the Kingdom’s dedication to working with IMO state members to raise safety standards, protect the marine environment, and foster human resource development.
The three-day conference’s main topics will be environmental effect and maritime industry sustainability. The significance of innovation in contemporary technology and the development of human potential will also be covered.
In more than 10 sessions, the event will feature more than 50 marine industry experts who will talk on a variety of issues. Additionally, more than 2,000 organizations will take part in more than 50 ancillary shows.
