Tabuk – Asdaf News:
According to a press release from Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer of the massive Red Sea and Amaala projects, Thuwal Private Retreat will be an exclusive island getaway that is only available through buy-out. It is scheduled to open for guests in the upcoming year.
Situated on a pristine 1.7-hectare sandy islet in a breathtaking coral archipelago on the Red Sea coast, the island offers luxurious accommodations in total seclusion, with natural beauty paired with understated architecture. The resort features three one-bedroom rooms, a beach club, a fitness centre, and a large main three-bedroom villa.
Red Sea Global Group CEO John Pagano said: “Thuwal Private Retreat has been created to allow guests the chance to disconnect from the stresses of daily life, and instead reconnect with their closest companions.”
According to the release, the creation of the resort represents a new phase for Red Sea Global, “with the destination sitting separately to the Red Sea and Amaala, and as a wholly RSG-owned brand. There are no third-party hospitality or hotel operators involved for the first time in RSG’s development history.”
In line with RSG’s broader vision and commitment to both people and planet, “Thuwal combines absolute luxury with conscious sustainability. The resort will be working with local food producers and partner with local artisans and restaurants to offer one-of-a-kind experiences”.
In addition, the developer is hiring from within the neighbourhood, specifically targeting Saudi nationals wishing to work in the upscale, private concierge hospitality sector.
RSG said earlier this month that it had been given the go-ahead to renovate Al Wajh Airport (EJH). Modernising the airport to bring it into compliance with international standards is the main goal of the development. RSG is constructing a new international terminal in addition to modernising the current terminal and its infrastructure. As a result, EJH will be prepared to provide additional direct flights, increasing connectivity and creating job possibilities for locals.–SPA
