Seiko Epson Corporation (“Epson”), a global technology leader from Japan, has announced the establishment of the Epson MENA Regional Headquarters. This strategic expansion underscores Epson’s commitment to enhancing its presence in the country and wider region, supporting customers and partners with cutting-edge technology solutions and regional leadership.
The RHQ, located in the Olaya District in Riyadh, will serve as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and customer engagement. It will enable Epson to strengthen its regional operations, offer enhanced support to businesses, and provide tailored solutions to meet the evolving needs of various industries.
Epson has operated in Saudi Arabia for over 15 years, and this headquarters represents a significant expansion of its established presence in the Kingdom. Epson is committed to enhancing service levels and strengthening its ties with the local distribution network combined with a growing footprint in the education sector, to better serve Saudi customers.
Saudi Arabia is a rapidly evolving tech hub, driven by investments in smart cities, digital infrastructure, and Vision 2030. Its strategic location bridges Africa, Europe, and Asia, making it key in trade and regional coordination. Epson supports national priorities by contributing to digital transformation and developing local talent. The Epson Graduate Programme, launched in 2022, supports this goal by equipping young professionals with hands-on experience and skills development, three of whom were hired by Epson.
Ryo Tachimori, Vice President of Business Operations for Epson’s Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, Central and West Asia (“META-CWA”), will lead the operations in Saudi Arabia as General Manager. He will be supported by Suat Ozsoy, Vice President of Commercial Operations for META-CWA, who will serve as Regional Director, and by Husam Alzughayyar as Country Manager. Together, they will oversee strategic direction, business operations, marketing, and financial performance, driving market expansion and integrating Epson’s products and services in the region.
This expansion is a significant part of Epson’s broader commitment to the META-CWA region. The company has been making strategic investments to enhance its regional facilities, with more than USD 13 million allocated to strengthening its infrastructure and ensuring sustainable growth. Between 2022 and 2024, Epson META-CWA increased the facilities investment by 28.6% and personnel investment by 45%.

The Saudi Arabia RHQ will work closely with Dubai headquarters to form a seamless regional network. This expansion highlights Epson’s confidence in the Saudi market and commitment to delivering tailored solutions. Plans to grow the channel partner network and market reach in the Kingdom further strengthen Epson’s connection with local customers and partners, enabling direct communication with the R&D team in Japan.
