Riyadh – Asdaf News:
The Oud House in Riyadh, one of the Arab Oud House’s branches around the world, was officially opened today by the Music Commission of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Oud House, under the direction of Maestro Naseer Shamma.
The school teaches how to play the oud as well as a variety of other instruments, including the cello, violin, flute, and bezek. It fosters the growth of a world-wide community of expert oud players and promotes Arabic culture and understanding of the oud’s significance.
The curriculum at the Arab Oud House includes instruction in a variety of musical playing techniques, giving students the knowledge they need to comprehend musical compositions, various music schools, and musical symbols. Students are permitted to perform in concerts after a period of practise and rehearsing.
The Music Commission’s initiatives to draw in regional and worldwide musical cadres and build curriculum of the highest calibre include the establishment of Riyadh Oud House. The objective is to strengthen, develop, and nurture indigenous talent while advancing the music business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
All persons interested in studying oud playing skills are invited to register at https://engage.moc.gov.sa/reg_form/tracks/2853/new by the Music Commission. September 21 to August 22 is the registration period.
