Start of Saudi-Korean Investment Trip to Highlight Possibilities in Logistics and Transportation

In the presence of the South Korean Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport Won Hee-ryong and the Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Eng. Saleh bin Nasser bin Ali Al-Jasser, the “Saudi-Korean” tour to promote investment opportunities in transportation and logistics began on Tuesday in Seoul.
Al-Jasser reaffirmed that the robust Saudi-South Korean relations, which have lasted for more than 60 years and helped to achieve growth and prosperity for the Saudi and Korean societies, are at the top of the agenda.
The South Korean minister, Won Hee-ryong, praised the degree of bilateral ties and collaboration between the two nations in all important fields, expressing respect for the numerous programs and initiatives the Saudi vision has adopted in building infrastructure in a number of different areas, including logistics and transportation.
The national strategy for transportation and logistics services, as well as initiatives, programs, and projects designed to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub and a connecting hub for three continents, were presented by the Saudi delegation, along with the strategy’s accomplishments since its mid-2021 launch.
The group also gave a presentation on the locations of investment prospects in the Kingdom for the fields of public transportation, aviation, highways, ports, railroads, and logistics services.
The delegation from the Republic of Korea went over the country’s various transportation systems and networks, investment opportunities in transportation innovation, the introduction of cutting-edge systems, electric vehicles, and buses, the field of roadmap applications, and the possibilities for expanding airports, air navigation, ports, and ways to move toward smart cities.
