Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, recently paid a visit to Atlantis The Royal, a brand-new iconic landmark on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah Island.
The ultra-luxury resort, which soars 43 floors high and covers 406,000 square meters, is a distinctive addition to Dubai’s magnificent skyline and the city’s tourist attractions. Emirates News Agency (WAM) stated on Saturday that the new landmark resort is a supporter of the recently unveiled Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s objective to solidify the city’s position as one of the top three worldwide destinations for business and tourism.
Sheikh Mohammed stated that the private sector remains a significant partner in Dubai’s development process and a critical factor in achieving its growth ambitions. Public-private sector collaborations are key to Dubai’s development strategy and a major force behind important industries like tourism, he noted.
Sheikh Mohammed stressed the significance of the tourism industry as a significant contributor to the country’s economy, saying, “We have ambitious growth targets for the sector over the next ten years. The UAE and Dubai seek to build on their deep partnerships with the private sector to strengthen the country’s status as the world’s most popular destination for international tourists.
“As part of our efforts to create a fertile ground for investors, we are keen to foster new growth opportunities in the tourism sector. Our steadfast commitment to building an exceptionally safe and stable environment and a world-class infrastructure over the last few decades has created the foundations for a remarkable future,” he added.
