Hilton Celebrates Ramadan with Media and Unveils Expansion plan with 75 New Hotels in the Coming Years

Hilton Riyadh Hotel and Residences hosted Ramadan Suhoor for media representatives attended by Hilton senior executives and directors.

In his welcome speech, Fawaz Moumina, Senior Director of Human Resources Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the Levant welcomed the media during this special Ramadan gathering.

“First Hilton hotel was opened in Saudi Arabia in 1995 and since then we have succeeded in expanding our portfolio of hotels in many Saudi cities such as Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar.

“We have also launched a number of our brands such as the luxury Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, DoubleTree by Hilton, and Hilton Garden Inn – allowing our guests to enjoy the diverse range of world-class hospitality services.”

Moumina also explained that the expansion plan is boosted by the unprecedented success achieved in the Kingdom, especially with the present development plans in all sectors.

“We aim to sustain our leadership position in the hospitality sector through an ambitious expansion plan where we are looking forward to opening 75 new hotels in The Kingdom in the coming years. In line with Vision 2030, this expansion plan is expected to create new job opportunities for Saudis. In the next two years, Hilton expects to hire 2,000 employees, 50% of whom are Saudis and by 2030 Hilton is anticipated to hire 10,000 new employees out of which 5,000 are Saudis.” Moumina said

Moumina added that the expansion plan is expected to create such a promising future making Hilton executives look forward more eagerly to working closely with the media who play a pivotal role in highlighting the efforts made in the travel and tourism sector in Saudi Arabia.
