Riyadh – Asdaf News:
Three Saudi Student Teams are heating up to compete in the 2023 FIRST Robotics Championship finals, which will be held in Houston, Texas, from April 19–22. The Saudi Federation for Robotics and Tele-Sports and the Ministry of Education will be hosting the event.
Up to 12 pupils, both male and female, are expected to compete. The Saudi teams are split into three age groups: pupils in intermediate and senior schools, those aged 6 to 10, and those aged 9 to 16.
The tournament gives participants the chance to participate in creative problem-solving and teamwork in the areas of science, engineering, technology, and mathematics in order to boost creativity and learn and build robots and artificial intelligence skills.
The King Abdullah Civilizational Center in Jubail hosted the qualification round of this competition in all of the kingdom’s administrative regions last March.
