The 5th Arab Karate Championship had come to a close in Kuwait with Dr. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Gannas of the Arab Karate Federation in attendance, on Sunday.
Saturday’s night competition was hosted by the Al-Yarmok club, which placed first with four gold medals. UAE Al-Ahli youth club came in second with one gold and one bronze, Kuwaiti club of Al-Kuwait placed third with one gold and two bronze, and Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia placed fourth with two silver and two bronze.
100 male and female competitors from 16 Arab clubs participated in the two-day competition.
