Riyadh – Asdaf news:

The Saudi 100 Brands Programme has announced the involvement of a number of designers. They will be presenting their goods during the Haute Couture Week in early July and the Fashion Week in Paris, which will take place at the end of June.

Burak Cakmak, the CEO of the Commission, stated on this occasion: “We are pleased to participate in these two events, which will enable local talents to interact with their international peers and exchange experiences with them in a way that contributes to developing and refining their talents, as well as meeting with businessmen, global buyers, and active investors in the world of fashion.”

“The Saudi 100 Brand Programme has proven, since its launch in 2021, that the Kingdom has a wide range of unique brands and distinguished local talents in the fashion world,” he continued. “The Commission seeks to enable them through international participation to mingle and interact with experts in this field and benefit from them in order to develop their skills and their trademarks.”

More than 50 companies will be present as a result of this participation in the ready-to-wear show from June 25 to 27 and the couture exhibition from July 3 to 5 in Paris, both of which will be supported by the Saudi Coffee Company.

This participation also reflects the Ministry of Culture’s eagerness to promote international cultural exchange as one of the strategic goals that it seeks to achieve under the aegis of Saudi Vision 2030, as well as the Commission’s efforts to develop this sector and support local talents.

In 2021, the Fashion Commission announced the Saudi 100 Brand Programme as one of its strategic initiatives with the goal of assisting 100 Saudi fashion firms in expanding their local and global markets through education, direction, and specialised consultations.
